Winter Camps

Big adventures for our littlest campers! Little Explorers Camp is specially designed for our JK students to discover the magic of winter through hands-on fun, creativity, and play. Each day, campers will explore exciting themes through arts and crafts, sensory activities, storytelling, music, and movement. Our youngest explorers will build, create, imagine, and learn together in a warm and nurturing environment. With small group sizes and caring instructors, children will be supported as they develop confidence, curiosity, and friendships… one joyful discovery at a time!

Exciting explorations, delightful discoveries, and winter wonders await our little ones. Designed specifically for children in K-1, this camp provides exposure to a variety of activities related to science and nature discovery, the arts, sports, and traditional camp games and activities. With a Winter Wonderland theme, campers will go on scavenger hunts, create art masterpieces, play traditional and non-traditional sports, and participate in drama games and skits. With a 1:10 ratio for supervision, our experienced teachers will ensure close monitoring, encouragement and attention while fostering creativity, confidence and communication within each camper. Come laugh, play and mix-it-up at Winter Camp!

Bundle up and get ready to explore the wonders of the winter forest! In this outdoor learning program, children will discover nature’s beauty in all kinds of weather through hands-on exploration and play in the forests surrounding Collingwood. Campers will take part in nature walks, winter-themed crafts, animal tracking, and outdoor games, all inspired by the changing season. Throughout the week, we will continue to honor and include Indigenous perspectives, fostering respect for the land and deepening our understanding of the plants, animals, and natural cycles that shape our local environment. Forest Explorers Camp is a place for curiosity, connection, and discovery, where every day brings a new adventure in nature!

Join the K-Pop Demon Hunters—a team of young pop stars who use music, dance, and friendship to defeat mischievous demons! In this fun, high-energy musical theatre camp, students will learn singing, dancing, and acting skills while creating their own original show filled with catchy tunes, exciting choreography, and teamwork. The program concludes with a final performance for family and friends!

We welcome back Young Moviemakers for an exciting week of camp in the world of moviemaking. Work with a director and other campers in your group to produce a short film! Learn all the elements of the filmmaking process from start to finish, including screenplay development, acting, visual storytelling, sound design, camera operation, editing and more in this exciting, hands-on filmmaking program. Come and see what they’ve put together on the last day of camp!

Get ready for the most epic winter camp ever! If you haven’t checked out Adventure Camp in the summer, now’s your chance to level up with our Winter Sports Adventure Camp! Join Mr. Payne and Ms. Sumar as you hop on the enchanted school bus and head out for a brand-new off-campus adventure each day—plus awesome gym time filled with fast-paced games, fun challenges, and friendly team competitions.

This camp is all about sports and nonstop action. You might be:

• Crushing a climb at The Hive

• Discovering legends at the BC Sports Hall of Fame

…and yes—we’ve got some mystery adventures planned that you won’t want to miss.

Everything’s taken care of—transportation, admission, and tons of fun. Just show up, gear up, and get ready for an unforgettable week with your friends! 

All activity information and consent will be provided to parents in advance so you will know the final destinations. These experienced educators will ensure that safety is the top priority. A more detailed schedule and consent forms will be sent to you once you register.
