An evening to learn about Canadian Post-Secondary Education

Families and students considering a future at a Canadian university are encouraged to attend this information session. Topics will include an overview of Canadian universities, the application process, program options, admission requirements, student finances and finding the right fit.

This event is a great opportunity for students in Grades 8 – 12 to gather information and speak directly with representatives of the 40+ universities in attendance. Parents are welcome to attend.

Students will have the opportunity to meet over 60 US university admissions officers and learn about the variety of colleges across America. Sign-up in the University Guidance office will be mandatory to attend. Students will be bussed to and from the event.

    McGill is an English-language university in Montreal, Quebec and is one of the world’s top research universities, situated in a vibrant city. Attend our information session with a representative from McGill to learn about academic programs, admission, and life in Montreal.

    Bishop’s is an English-language university in Sherbrooke, Quebec and a member of the Maple League of Universities, a group of small, liberal arts and sciences-focused institutions with close-knit campus communities. Come learn about the small campus experience and the merits of studying in a teaching-focused academic environment.

    Families and students considering applications to universities outside Canada are invited to spend the evening with the University Guidance counselors. Topics will include standardized testing (ACT & SAT), the Common Application, UCAS, reference letters, education costs and student visas.
