Student-Led Initiatives

We are happy to highlight student-led initiatives, Coffee for Yemen whose sale of medium roast coffee supports the Yemen Relief and Reconstruction Foundation, and Youth Art for Action whose sale of colourful & fun accessories support building homes for impoverished Peruvian families.


Coffee for Yemen

Created during Covid-19 lockdown by Grade 12 students Lola Bosa and Ash Alguneh, Coffee for Yemen dedicates 100% of the profits from the sale of their special medium roast coffee to the Yemen Relief and Reconstruction Foundation. This sweet & floral coffee is sourced from family-owned plots in the western highlands of Yemen and packaged in 200g bags.

Youth Art for Action

Grade 10 student Jena Yue is the Founder/Director of YAFA, a foundation where young artists donate their work to empower the community around them. Sales of YAFA’s fun & colourful Bracelets and Hair Scrunchies provide proceeds towards building homes for Peruvians who live in impoverished conditions.
