This camp is sure to be up beat! This week will include instruments, singing and dancing! Your child will learn fun new songs and have a chance to make instruments of their own. Other activities during the week may include supervised games both indoors and outdoors, as well as reading and arts and crafts. Note that the programming for the am and pm sessions will differ.

If your child is registered in both the morning and afternoon program this week, there will be a supervised lunch break from 12:00-1:00.

Do you love spending time in nature and want to learn more about gardening and plants? In this program, children will explore our garden and surrounding forest to learn about all the species of both plants and animals that make up our natural environment. Of course, children will plant their own seeds, harvest some produce, and even make some delicious snacks together! Participants will also explore the science behind how plants grow, and create art relating to BC’s diverse flora and fauna. All aspiring “Green Thumbs” welcome!

Make your child’s Collingwood Camp a full day experience by adding on our afternoon program. Following a supervised lunch, our summer staff will lead campers through a variety of activities both indoors and outdoors. Cooperative games and arts and crafts are among the many fun “campy” activities that are planned with a different theme in mind each week. Our afternoon programming will complement your child’s unique instructional program in the morning, and is sure to keep campers engaged and active throughout the day.
