Our Commitment to Environmental Sustainability
It is with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility that I present to you our school’s Sustainability Plan.
In today’s rapidly changing world, the call for sustainable practices resonates louder than ever. Our commitment to nurturing the minds of future leaders extends beyond the classroom and into the realm of responsible global citizenship. The Sustainability Plan encapsulates our collective vision for a greener, more equitable future, aligning with our core values and reflecting the shared aspirations of our vibrant school community.
Let our shared commitment to sustainability be a beacon of inspiration, guiding us towards a future where our school not only excels academically but also stands as a shining example of responsible and impactful global citizenship.

The Call to Action
By integrating sustainability into our curriculum, daily operations, and culture, we aim to nurture a community that not only excels academically but also embodies a conscientious and compassionate approach to the betterment of our world.
Environmental Sustainability Plan
Framework
At the same time, students, parents, educational faculty and operational staff will work to complete a set of priority actions in each of our six focus areas that will help reduce our ecological footprint. Together, we will effectively manage our grounds and buildings, reduce our energy and water consumption, seek out alternatives for travel and transport and improve our purchasing, waste and food service practices. Our overarching commitment to reduce our carbon footprint and take action on climate change is woven throughout each of these six focus areas.
Integrating Environmental Sustainability: The Three Lenses
Six Focus Areas

- Converting to electric school vehicles.
- Prioritizing low emissions transportation for off-campus field and professional development trips.
