19. Lunar New Year Celebrations Through the Years
Jill Slattery

A special time in the calendar every year, Lunar New Year has been celebrated at Collingwood for decades. From Parents' Council-hosted celebrations to classroom decorations and performances, and student-led activities, there is always something unique and wonderful going on to mark the occasion.

In recent years, our parents have outdone themselves decorating both campuses with colourful installations and showcasing interactive cultural traditions, like dancing, archery, calligraphy, and music. We love sharing and getting to experience the special celebrations important to our diverse and vibrant community.

Happy Lunar New Year Collingwood! 恭喜发财! We took a trip through the archives to find these classic photos of Lunar New Year at Collingwood.
