Geer house brings home the wright cup

Congratulations to Geer House for being named the 2015-2016 House Champions! Their persistent hard work and soaring school spirit rightfully earned them the Rodger Wright Cup.

House System

The House System at the Morven Campus consists of six houses that compete in inter-house competitions across each of the Four Strands (Academics, Athletics, Arts and Service). Each house is co-ed and includes of students and faculty, led by a Head of House (faculty) and two elected Grade 12 House Captains.

BEfore & After School Care

The Collingwood JK – 5 Before & After School Care Program supports families on days where guardians and alternate caregivers are unable to pick their children up at regular dismissal.

Health & Wellness

The Collingwood Health Centre is an important part of the Collingwood school environment. The Health Centre is wellness focused and has offices on both campuses. The offices are staffed by nursing professionals who are available throughout the school day to attend to the health needs of the students, faculty, staff and families of Collingwood.

Transportation

The goal of the Transportation Department is to provide safe and dependable morning, afternoon and co-curricular bus service for the Collingwood School community. Our buses are routed through all areas of the North Shore from Lions Bay to Deep Cove as well as into South Vancouver.

University Guidance

The University Guidance office helps students find a university that suits them well; however, it is also an opportunity for students to reflect, grow and learn about who they are. We are here to support, encourage and counsel students as they navigate their many available post-secondary options.

Clubs

We have over 30 clubs and organizations at our Wentworth and Morven campuses. These clubs revolve around a wide variety of interests, from sports to hobbies to social issues.

Student Support

It is the Head of House’s mission to create and foster school spirit in a collaborative and caring environment. Guidance is provided to the students in the areas of personal, social and emotional advising, academic support, and career counselling.

Exchange Program

The international exchange program offers students the unique opportunity to experience a new country, culture and lifestyle with the safety net of a host school and family. This experience empowers students to broaden their horizons, gain international perspective and become more self-aware.

Food Services

Our Wentworth Campus Lunch Program ensures that all our students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 7 are able to order a lunch for the days they are in attendance. At Morven, the Ludwig Family Cafeteria is open and offers a full selection of breakfast, lunch and snack items, along with hot and cold beverages.
