Building on the success of last year's student conference, we are once again engaging youth as stakeholders in the process of planning this event. We are hosting a series of idea jams across the city, inviting youth to come brainstorm with us. The Vancouver idea jam will take place on May 30th at 4:15pm, at the SFU Harbour Centre campus.  The session will be an opportunity for students to interact with peers (including university students) and contribute to what will be an exciting and high-profile event in September.

The Whistler Water One Climb event will be providing over 10,000 people with lifetime access to safe drinking water for their life by building boreholes that will be community operated. Any support you can lend them to get there friends and school peers to sign up at www.oneclimb.ca would be awesome.

 There will be 3 of the One Climb Organizing Team members on site next Tuesday – May 28th – to help any students, teachers or staff during both the Middle School and Senior School lunch hour.

-$10/hour (less source deductions, which are minimal)

-Work 2 to 3 days per week during the month of July, approx. 9 hours per day, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (list of days of work would be provided well in advance, for those who have other jobs to work around)

-We have a swimming pool (which can make this quite a fun summer job!), so someone responsible is required.
